Meet MAIA – Your
Mortgage AI Assistant
BNTouch offers many tools and features to
help keep your business running efficiently, but at some point, everyone needs
a little help around the office. Maia is here to help; she is your Mortgage AI
Assistant, and she knows your CRM inside and out. Whether you are having a
tough time finding a client’s file, trying to set up a quick reminder for
later, or setting up a regular weekly report, Maia is ready to get work done
and provide you with the information you’re looking for.

How Can I Talk
to MAIA?
You’ll find Maia waiting for you when you
log into BNTouch. On the right side of your screen, no matter where you are in
your CRM, you’ll see a little robot icon on your Tracker. Click that button to
activate MAIA.
You can also talk to Maia when working
via the BNTouch Mobile App. Whenever you swipe from the left to open the app
menu, you’ll see Maia’s robot icon in the upper-right corner. You can also
access Maia from the “My Stats” screen when you first log in.

Once she introduces herself, you can type
in the chat box below to give her tasks to perform. You can ask her questions
about your account, the CRM, or the mortgage industry. You can even ask her to
help you with various tasks in your CRM.
You can talk to Maia just like anyone
else. If you have a specific question, like “Can you find birthdays this
month?”, you can just ask it. You don’t have to write full sentences; she’ll
also understand “show birthdays this month” or “birthdays this month”. If you
aren’t sure where to start, you can always just type “Help”; she’ll show you a
list of some of the most common commands she receives.
She’ll respond below your request, and
she’ll include any information that you asked for. If this includes borrower,
partner, or other records, you can open those records by clicking the blue
links in her answer. If you ask her to find records, emails, or other sets of
information, she’ll give you a list and let you choose which ones you want to
work with. Simply put, she’ll do her best to complete your request, and provide
you with information and links to help you out.
What Can MAIA
Do?
One thing that Maia can do well is find
information for you. This can be almost anything in your CRM, from records to documents,
from campaigns to partnerships.
If you ask her to “Find borrower”, for
instance, she’ll ask you for the borrower’s name, then search through your
mortgage records to find the right one. You could also say, “Find partner
Chelsea”, in which case she would start the search right away and show you the
results. You can even use different words, like “search duplicate records”,
“list closings”, “show first-time buyers”, get meta-tags”, or “pull up loan
anniversaries”.

Maia can also make changes to information
in your CRM for you. For example, if you ask her to “find today’s tasks”,
she’ll list each of them out for you with a number. You could then ask her to
“close task” or “edit task”, and she’ll know that you are referring to the ones
she listed out for you. She’ll ask which ones you want to change and how you
want to change them, then ask for a confirmation once she knows what needs
done. She can handle several requests like this, including “edit to-do”,
“update assignments”, “start campaign”, “update calendar event”, and more.
You can also ask Maia to start new items
for you. If you say, “create task”, for instance, she’ll ask what kind of task
you need a reminder for. She’ll ask when you want the task done by, then
confirm that the new task is made. Voila - you’ll now be able to see the task
in your Dashboard tab, and the reminder will come up
when you asked for it. She can make many items for you this way, so try “send
SMS” to have her compose a text message, “create email report” to have her
alert you by email of specific records every week or month, or “add
appointment” to make events in your calendar.
If you aren’t sure how something works in
your CRM, Maia can help! You can ask her specific questions, like, “How can I
update my picture?” or “Where is my loan application?”, and she’ll direct you
to the part of your CRM with that functionality. If you don’t know how to
access part of your CRM, you can ask her to take you there by saying, “Open
page calendar”. She’ll provide a link to that page so you can finish your work.

What If She
Can’t Help?
Maia has come a long way in learning to
be the best possible assistant for your mortgage business, but she’s still
learning. If she has a hard time understanding what you are asking for, she’ll
try to let you know what the problem may be. She doesn’t sweat the little
things--typos and misspelled words are usually not enough to confuse her. If
she asks you for additional information, she’ll keep working with the task you
originally gave her once you help her understand.
Sometimes, though, she may simply not
know how to help. If you notice Maia struggling with her job, please let us
know so that we can work with her to improve. The same goes for new tasks for
her; if you think of something that Maia can’t currently do that would help
