Options – CSV Export

If you need to back up your borrower or partner records onto your computer or transfer data from BNTouch to another system, you can export the information into a .CSV File. In the Options Tab, click the “Export” link to start this process. A “.CSV File,” short for “Comma Separates Values,” is a text file that can contain large amounts of data fields separated by a series of commas. They can be opened by spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and they can be imported into other systems to integrate the data.

Creating these files is a very simple process; in the “Export” section, there are three buttons for exporting records. The first two can be used to download borrower data from the Mortgages tab of your CRM, either with or without loan information. The third button will download partner data from the Partnerships tab instead.

Clicking any button will display the number of records that will be included in the file, which can then be downloaded using the “Click here to download CSV file” button. Select a location on your computer that you will be able to find again later, then save the file. If you do not see a prompt for file location, the file should appear in your “Downloads” folder.
