Mobile App – Mobile Record Lists
Navigating Client
and Partner Records in the Mobile App
The BNTouch Mobile App lets you access
all of the client and partner records that you have already entered in the Mortgages Tab and Partnerships Tab of the web browser version of
your CRM. You can add new records via your mobile device, and these records will
likewise be added and available next time you open your CRM database on your
computer. This easy access to all of your mortgage
information lets you carry out your business on-the-go via your phone or
tablet.
When you log into the BNTouch app, you
can access your database or add new records to it by swiping from left to right
to open the menu. This guide will show you how to navigate your record database
and get in contact with your clients and partners using the Mobile App. If you
need help creating or editing contact records, please check out our “Contact
Records” article or training video.
Viewing New
REcords
In the Mobile App, you will have multiple
methods available to navigate your client and partner record databases. If you
are looking to check on records that have been added since you last accessed
your CRM, you can swipe into the Menu and tap “New Records”. You may see a
number in orange to the right of this menu option—this indicates how many new
records have been added since your last visit.
When you open the New Records list, you
will see records displayed chronologically from when they were added to your
database. For each one, you can see the contact’s name, some information from
their record, and an indicator for the type of contact it is. A “C” here means
a mortgage “Client”, a “P” is a “Partner”, and an “R” represents a new hire
from your “Recruiting” database. You can tap on any contact’s name to open
their record, and you can use the circles to the left to select multiple
records to delete using the buttons at the top of the list.
You can also tap the “Actions” icon to
the right of a contact’s name to see various methods to contact that client or
partner. A new menu will appear, and the options that are listed will depend on
what contact information is entered for that record, what add-on modules you
have enabled for your account, and what features you have given the app access
to on your mobile device.
“Call” lets you choose from the phone
numbers you have logged for the contact, then opens your phone app to start the
call. Similarly, you can use the “Send Text/SMS” to draft a text message and
send it to your contacts, either using the BNTouch app or your phone’s default
app. “Add Tracker Note” lets you attach internal messages to the record in your
CRM, which can help you coordinate with your co-workers.
“Send Email” will open an email editor so
you can write a message to your contact, and “Send Postcard” allows you to send
a physical mailer to the person’s mailing address. The “Send Video Message”
link can be used to record a personalized video using your phone’s camera, then
send it to your client.
Reviewing Recent
Records
Instead of checking out records that you
haven’t opened yet, you can also review the “Last Records” that you have opened
in your database. This can be a great time-saver if you are working in a
client’s file and need to navigate away for a bit. You can always hop back into
the last records you opened by swiping into your Menu, then tapping “Last
Records”. The same options and contact methods are available in this list that
were present in the “New Records” list, and you can open the records by simply
tapping the contact’s name.
Browsing Records
in My Pipeline
If you want to navigate through your
organized record databases, you can open your menu and tap “My Pipeline”. This
will let you choose between your “Mortgages”, “Partnerships”, and “Recruiting”
tabs at the bottom of the screen. For each database, you will then see a list
of the various marketing sequence stages and the number of records in each one.
Tapping a marketing stage will show a list of all clients, partners, or
recruits in that part of your pipeline sequence. Inside each sequence stage,
you will have the same list, contact, and record options that were available in
the “New” and “Last” record lists.
Searching for
Records
If you aren’t sure what record you are
looking for, you can always search through your entire CRM database using the
“Search” box at the top of your app menu. When you enter search terms and tap
the magnifying glass icon, you will see a list of any records that match the
criteria you entered. Just like before, you can open, contact, or delete these
records using the “Name” link, “Actions” icon, and circles to the left of the
contact.
