Options – Newsletter Preferences
Newsletter
PReferences
To customize a personal Newsletter for
use in your email Marketing, open the “Newsletter Preferences” section of the
Options tab. The options for configuring your Newsletter are separated into three
sub-tabs. At the top of each tab will be a link to your Newsletter, which can
be copied to use and send anywhere.

Sections
The “Sections” sub-tab allows you to
choose what elements will appear in your Newsletter. First, choose from a
general template using the drop-down menu at the top, then click “Update.”
An example of your Newsletter will appear
to the right. Individual sections can be dragged and dropped in the text
newsletter to the right. To remove or add a section, use the blue links in the
“Newsletter Options” list to the left.
New links, in the form of RSS feeds, can
be added to your newsletter using the drop-down menu below, and the number of
articles to display for each can be selected. If you want to request a news
feed that is not on this list, you can submit the RSS feed link to BNTouch for
review using the “Add new RSS” option. These are not the same as website URLs
or other links, so make sure you use the correct format and address provided by
the new feed.

Custom Text and
Name
To add your own custom elements to your
Newsletter, use the “Custom Text and Name” sub-tab. Here, you can enter a name
for your Newsletter, a title for the RSS feed articles section, and a title for
a custom-text section.
The custom section can be used to add whatever
content you like to your newsletter using the text box below. The options above
the box can be used for editing, formatting, and inserting elements like videos
and image, meta-tags for data in your CRM, or links to external websites. When
finished, click “Update Text” to save any entered information. What you enter
here will be sent with your Newsletter, so be sure to update this section at
the end of each month to keep your Newsletter up-to-date.

Links
The “Links” sub-tab can be used to embed
image links to your Newsletter in other websites or communications you use. To
do so, simply copy the HTML text to the right of the link you want to use, then
paste that HTML into the website, email, or other web location you want the
button to appear.
