Administration – Setup Tabs
User Setup in
the BNTouch CRM
Each user in your BNTouch account can get
the most out of their CRM if they have personal, contact, company, and email
information listed for their user account. This information is used throughout
the CRM to auto-populate emails, portals, records, and more. You can customize
the user information for your account in the Setup and Setup-2 Tabs of the
Administration menu. In the User Menu in the upper-right corner of the screen,
click “Administration,” then open the tabs labeled “Setup” or “Setup-2”. Only
administrative users can access this area of the CRM; please contact your
administrator if you need help and do not have access.

Setup – User Information
List
In the “Setup” Tab, you’ll see a list of
all users for your BNTouch account sorted by the name of the user. For each
user, fields will appear in rows below. These fields can be used to enter the
user’s Name and Title, contact information, personal website, NMLS number, and
time zone. If that account has a corresponding username for your LOS, you can list
it here as well. The “Safe Mode” drop-down menu will activate or deactivate
Safe Mode for that user’s marketing campaigns, which will prevent steps from
being sent automatically when triggered.

If you make any changes to fields on this
list, they will only be saved if you click the “Update Information” button
below. If you cannot see all of the fields in this
list, you can use the scroll bars to change which fields display; the username
and account type will still be visible when you do so.

Setup-2 –
Additional User Information List
Similar to the previous list, the “Setup-2” tab will have additional fields
available for each user account. Again, this list is sorted by the name of each
user, which can only be changed in the original “Setup” list. To the right,
fields will display for the user’s Company and Office contact information; you
only need to provide this information for users that are not at the main
company address or those working under DBA. If the user needs any
“Self”-targeted steps in marketing campaigns to come from “BNTouch” instead of
their own name, select “Yes” from the drop-down menu. Lastly, a default email
signature can be set here for the user’s communication through the CRM.
Meta-tags can be used in this signature, and they will auto-populate the
corresponding information for that user.
Again, changes to these fields will only
be saved if you click the “Update Information” button below the list.
