Staying Alert
with Mobile App Notifications
When you are working on-the-go, you need
to know when your mortgage clients are communicating with you, when new leads
are sent your way, and when you have an upcoming appointment. The BNTouch
Mobile App helps keep you in-the-know with push notifications for important
updates within your CRM. You won’t need to worry about missing out on leads,
marketing opportunities, or incoming messages, as each notification will link you
to the corresponding record, calendar, or conversation within your database.
When you log into the BNTouch app, you
can check for any pending notifications by swiping from left to right to open
the menu. When you tap “My Notifications”, you will be able to see a list of
any of these alerts you have recently received. You can also see these
notifications appear when you are using other apps on your mobile device. Tapping
these will open the BNTouch app and bring you to this section.
My Notifications
List
The “My Notifications” list will show
many types of new events in your CRM, starting with the most recent. Any that
you haven’t opened in the mobile app will appear with a green dot to the left
of the alert description. When you tap on a notification, you will be taken to
the linked record or other part of the app, and the green dot will disappear
from the “My Notifications” list.
You can remove these notifications once
you have acted upon them using the circles to the left of the description and
the “Delete Selected” button above the list. If you want to clear all alerts in
the list, just tap “Select” All.
Types of Mobile
Notifications
Many events connected to your user
account in your CRM will generate alerts in the “My Notifications” section of
the app.
Upcoming events from the “Alerts” section
of your CRM dashboard will appear as notification in your app. These include
Loan Anniversaries and Birthdays in the next 15 days. Similarly, if you elect
to enable a reminder for any calendar task in the Dashboard, an alert will be
sent to you according to how early before the event start time you chose when
creating the reminder.
When clients and partners communicate
with you via their Portal sites, you will get notifications for each message
they send. You will also get Portal alerts when clients upload documents for
your review, complete their loan application form, or refer their friends to
you. Partner Portals will send notifications when a partner submits a new lead
to you via their Open House or Lead Submission forms.
If other users in your CRM assign any
clients or partners to your account, you’ll receive a notification in your app
so you can accept or deny the record. Lastly, you will also get an alert in the
“My Notifications” list whenever clients or partners respond to your SMS
messages, allowing you to easily follow relevant conversations as they update.
