Recovering Deleted Records in BNTouch

Mistakes happen sometimes, and if any records are accidentally deleted in your BNTouch CRM, you can still recover them. This includes records from the Mortgages, Partnerships, and recruiting tabs. To check for potentially recoverable records, open the Options tab and click “Records Recovery.”

For up to 90 days, any record deleted in your CRM will be listed on this page for recovery. If your business has multiple user accounts with BNTouch, you can check for recoverable records for each account using the drop-down menu above the list.

To recover any records on this page, simply check the boxes to the left of the desired records and click the “Restore Selected” button above or below the list. If you want to recover all displayed records, you can check “Select All” at the top of the list. Note that this will select all records on the current page of records; if there are multiple pages, you may need to perform this process multiple times. You can also choose to display more records per page using the drop-down menu to the top-right of the list.

Document Recovery

In addition to recovering deleted records, you can also find documents that were recently removed from client files. In the “Documents” sub-tab, you’ll see a list of any files that have been deleted from borrower, partner, or recruiting records. This list will include the filename, description, and status for the file at the time of deletion, as well as a link to the record it was attached to. To the right, you can see the record owner, when the file was added and removed, and which CRM user deleted it.

The “Actions” icon can be used to either restore or permanently delete the file. You can also check the boxes to the left of file you want to restore or delete and perform the action en masse using the buttons above the list. To find the records you are looking for, type the document name, the name of the record it was uploaded to, or a time period in which it was deleted in the fields above. When you click “Apply”, the list below will be refined to only show matching documents.
